I’m trying to avoid getting involved in a lot of the conversations that have followed CA:CW but this is one I really feel strongly about so, sorry about that.

Please. Please stop saying Marisa Tomei is too young to be playing Aunt May. She is 51. She is the same age as RDJ.
We (rightly) get pissed at the way older women are sidelined in Hollywood, and how the older the guy, the younger the woman romantically involved with him seems to be (Vulture did a great post on it with charts and graphs and so many infuriating figures).
Here we have a 51-year-old woman who is both more than old enough to have a 15-year-old nephew AND flirt her heart out with Tony Stark. It’s GLORIOUS. And, depressingly, revolutionary.
