The Legend of Korra will continue as comics written by Michael DiMartino, published by Dark Horse! I’ve been working on the story with Mike, and I’ll be consulting on the art (once we secure an artist/artists). I made the images above for our announcement at the Dark Horse panel, which just finished up. Exciting stuff!

Me: haha science!
Waffles: then one of the party remarked on a hair in the honey he was dipping bread in they found more hair and pulled on it and ‘the body of a small child appeared, in good state of preservation, with all limbs intact and well dressed, with ornaments’
Me: GOOD LORD
Waffles: it is not recorded if any of the party ever ate anything ever again
Me: bluagh guahg so it was a child in a big jar of honey? they were really going at it? not just tasting huh
Waffles: yeah they must have been really nomming it
even the designers of Cars had no idea how that shit worked

see i love hearing these stories because it’s a nice reminder that even professionals at one of the most esteemed animation companies in the world make ridiculous mistakes and go through about a million silly ideas before coming up with the most reasonable and elegant solution
This is fucking amazing, guys. I’ve never even been into Neopets and this is magical for me. Basically, Neopets was sold to Jumpstart (an “edutainment” company). That’s all well and good, except for the fact that Jumpstart fired every single one of the admins and moderators (for many of whom it was a paying job, btw) without any prior warning; they thought that their word filter could take care of everything.
