he used to do crime, until he got caught. his current freedom is not without limitations, being conditional upon his cooperation in working for the authorities. his crime-doing compatriots, amongst whom were his boyfriend AND girlfriend, weren’t quite lucky enough to be offered such a deal when he ratted them out- a secondary condition to his current freedom.
