there was like a period where everyone was like “Peridot is coming” was the new “the saiyans are coming” which just became that much more real when fuckn Jasper showed up looking like the Nappa of the group and Peridot was a stone cold bitch who just sat back and used technology rather than fighting directly herself. but then 10 minutes later, the next episode aired, Peridot got her ass kicked off screen while Garnet defeated Jasper by herself we were like “oh, well then”
